Fourth charge sheet of 13 thousand pages filed under UAPA in Parliament security lapse case!
The Special Cell has prepared this detailed charge sheet based on the evidence revealed in its investigation, digital data, chats, call records, social media activities and other technical evidence. Police claim that the accused had deliberately conspired to breach the security arrangements of Parliament and through this incident an attempt was made to create an atmosphere of fear and spread unrest across the country.
Apart from several sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), serious sections of UAPA have also been included in the charge sheet. The accused have been charged with obstruction of government business, obstructing public servants on duty, inciting riot, destruction of evidence, criminal conspiracy and offenses related to terrorist activities.
According to Delhi Police, the attempt to breach the security at a very sensitive place like Parliament was not an ordinary demonstration, but evidence of organized conspiracy and large-scale preparation has been found behind it. The investigating agencies are now also thoroughly investigating other possible networks, funding and foreign contacts related to this case.
During the winter session of Parliament in December 2023, some youths jumped inside the Lok Sabha House from the Visitors Gallery and released smoke canisters. This incident had raised serious questions about the security arrangements of Parliament in the entire country. Immediately after the incident, the Special Cell of Delhi Police started investigating the case.
There should be a legal investigation into the activities of BJP and its ‘colleagues’: Akhilesh Yadav!
