Nitish Rane’s big statement before Bakrid, controversy created due to his comment on computer sacrifice
Tezzbuzz Desk- Maharashtra government minister Nitish Rane has once again come into the news for his statement. His statement given before Bakrid has sparked a new debate in political circles. While commenting on issues related to festivals and environment, he raised many sharp questions, after which the political controversy has intensified.
Nitish Rane said that when festivals like Holi and Diwali come, people are given different types of advice. He said that there is talk of celebrating dry Holi and avoiding firecrackers during Diwali.
In this context, he made a controversial comment and said that those who give such suggestions should be advised to “virtual sacrifice by putting a picture of a goat on the computer” for Bakrid.
Rane also said in his statement that there should be balance in the advice given regarding festivals. He raised the question why people who are concerned about the environment do not give such suggestions on other festivals.
He further said that unity and understanding of traditions should be developed in the society, and unnecessary controversies should not be created over festivals.
During his statement, Nitish Rane also mentioned Veer Savarkar and said that the society needs reform within itself also. He also claimed that only a few people work to spread confusion in the society.
Apart from this, in a post on social media, he talked about strengthening Hindu unity in areas like Neral. He wrote that Hindu society should demonstrate its unity by remaining united.
