Bihar Government has taken a big decision to make the ‘Sahayog Shivir’ organized at the Panchayat level more effective in order to provide better facilities to the general public regarding government schemes and grievance redressal. Under this new system, the camps will not only be made more transparent, but the emphasis will also be on providing fast and simple services to the people.
1. The problem of writing applications will end
Now the facility to write applications will be made available for the people coming to the cooperation camp. Clerks will be appointed for this, so that people who have difficulty in writing applications can easily lodge their complaints. Along with this, pre-printed forms will also be available, in which the application can be submitted by filling only the necessary information.
2. Instant online acknowledgment and digital processing
The applications submitted at the camp will be uploaded on the portal on the spot and acknowledgment will also be given immediately. This will make the process more transparent and faster and people will be able to easily know the status of their application.
3. Advance disposal of pending cases
The government has directed that the pending cases of the concerned panchayats should be reviewed before the camp. For this, everyone from the District Magistrate to the Circle Officer has been asked to speed up the action so that maximum number of cases can be resolved in the camp.
4. Solution mandatory in 30 days
Now it has been made mandatory to dispose of any application within a maximum of 30 days. If the deadline is not followed, strict action, even suspension, will be taken against the officers and employees concerned. This will further intensify administrative accountability.
5. Information about government schemes will also be available
Now cooperation camps will not be limited only to grievance redressal, but will also become centers of publicity and awareness of government schemes. Stalls of various departments will be set up here, where people will be given complete information about the schemes. Services of agriculture, animal husbandry, revenue, land reforms and other departments will be available at one place.
6. Better facilities and digital system
Now better facilities will be taken care of at the camping sites. In view of the heat, drinking water, seating arrangements and temporary strong camps will be made. Besides, digital facilities like internet, laptop and printer will also be made available, so that the entire work can be done online and at a faster pace.
