CNG Price Hike: After the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel for the fourth time (May 25, 2026), the price of CNG has been increased the very next day on Tuesday (May 26, 2026). Indraprastha Gas Limited has increased the prices of CNG by Rs 2 per kg in the country’s capital Delhi. After this, the rate of CNG in Delhi has reached the level of Rs 83.09 per kg. On the other hand, according to IGL, the increase in the cost of gas in the international market and the strengthening of the US dollar is also affecting the cost of CNG. Due to this the company had to change the retail prices.
Prices increased for the fourth time in 12 days
After petrol and diesel, the prices of CNG are also increasing for the fourth time. Let us tell you that CNG prices have increased for the fourth time after May 15. On May 15, there was an increase of Rs 2 per kg, while on May 18, the price was increased by Re 1. After this, for the third time on May 23, there has been an increase of Rs 1. There was an increase of Rs 2 per kg on Tuesday (May 26, 2026). In this way, overall prices have been increased by Rs 6 during the last 12 days.

Petrol and diesel prices have already increased four times
