Central Command spokesman Tim Hawkins said that the US military is continuing to protect its forces by exercising restraint during the current ceasefire. These attacks have taken place at a time when both sides are claiming that progress has been made in the ongoing talks to reach an agreement. Due to these new attacks, the fear has increased that the ongoing talks regarding ceasefire may stop and enmity between the two sides may start again.

How many people died?

According to a report by Iran International, America’s latest attacks took place on Iran’s Larak Island. According to Iranian media outlet SNN, several people are being reported killed in a joint attack by America and Israel on Larak Island, located in the south near the Strait of Hormuz. Citing local people, the report said that three of those killed have been identified. However, the total number of dead is still not clear. Apart from this, it has not been decided yet whether the people killed were associated with the army or whether common people were targeted in these attacks.
