UK Weather Alert: Weather changed in Uttarakhand, scorching heat of 41 degrees in the plains and rain alert in the mountains.

Along with other states of North India, Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has also been hit by the scorching heat and scorching sun. The ‘scorching’ heat in the plains of the state has made life miserable for the common people. According to the latest estimates of the Meteorological Centre, the temperature in the plains is rising very rapidly and there are full chances of the mercury reaching 41 degrees Celsius today. Due to the strong hot winds that have been blowing in the plains since morning, there is complete silence on the streets in the afternoon and people are forced to remain confined to their homes.

There may be relief in the mountains, possibility of rain

On one hand, while the plains of Uttarakhand are scorching badly due to the scorching heat, on the other hand, the Meteorological Department has given some relief news for the people living in the hilly districts. There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in the hilly areas of the state and light to moderate rain at some places. Meteorologists believe that this seasonal movement and storm in the mountains can cause a slight drop in the temperature, which will definitely provide some relief from the scorching sun to the local people present there as well as the tourists visiting from the plains.

Administration fully alert regarding heat wave (loo)

In view of the continuously increasing mercury in the plains, the Meteorological Department has issued a serious warning of ‘heat wave’ i.e. heat wave. According to statistics, the direct rays of the sun and scorching hot winds are seen most from 11 pm to 4 pm. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the health department and the local administration have also geared up and advised people to be on alert mode all the time.

Special advice from doctors to avoid severe heat

In view of the increasing number of patients in hospitals, health experts and doctors have issued some very important guidelines for the general public. Doctors say that people should come out of their homes or offices only when absolutely necessary in the afternoon. To avoid dehydration in the body during this season, keep consuming things like ORS solution, lemonade, buttermilk and lassi. Even if you have to go out for some work, cover your head properly with a cotton cloth, use an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun and use sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Meteorologists have clearly said that this harsh and severe heat trend will continue in the plains for the next few days, whereas due to the activation of Western Disturbance in the mountains, the mood of the weather will keep changing from time to time.
