Tehran must destroy the enriched uranium, even if it is not given to us! Is Trump willing to show good intentions for a compromise?

US President Donald Trump has said something slightly different from his previous statement. He said Iran’s stock of enriched uranium will not be handed over to America. But they have to be finished. American President Donald Trump has said this in a slightly different way from his previous statement. He is interested in a diplomatic solution rather than a new conflict with Iran. Has Trump become a little flexible to show his good intentions regarding the agreement with Tehran? This question has already started arising.
Late on Monday night (Indian time), the US President made a post on social media. He said that the stock of enriched uranium in Iran will have to be eliminated. This can be done by taking it to America, or to Iran, or to any other place. This entire process will take place in the presence of the American Atomic Energy Commission or any other equivalent institution.
He wrote in ‘Truth Social’, “The enriched uranium should be immediately handed over to the United States so that it can be brought back to the country and destroyed. Or, in collaboration with Iran, it can be destroyed there or at any other place of our choice. And the Atomic Energy Commission or an equivalent body will be present to oversee the entire process.”
It is worth noting that one of the ‘thorns’ in the path of a US-Iran peace agreement is the uranium accumulated by Tehran. Trump has repeatedly claimed that to restore peace, Iran will have to stop its nuclear activities. Tehran’s nuclear activities are also a reason behind the failure of the meeting held in Islamabad last week.
Trump has long been saying that the enriched uranium stored by Iran should be handed over to America. Last week, he made his position clear to reporters in the Oval Office of the White House. He said that America will not change its position on taking enriched uranium from Iran. However, his post on Monday night shows that he is currently showing a somewhat soft attitude towards Iran.
