Big change in design and powerful processor
The design of the Chinese variants of HONOR 600 series is completely different from the global model. While in global markets it was seen with a vertical camera setup, in China its back panel has a thin horizontal camera bar running from one end to the other. The Pro model has three imaging rings.
Talking about hardware, the vanilla HONOR 600 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. On the other hand, a major change has been seen in the Chinese variant of HONOR 600 Pro. In place of Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the global variant, MediaTek’s latest MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite processor has been included, which works on 4nm architecture and its clock speed goes up to 3.4GHz.
Huge 8600mAh battery and 200MP camera
The biggest upgrade in both these smartphones has been seen in their battery life. While both phones come with a 7,000mAh battery in the global market, the company has made it bigger in the Chinese variants:
- HONOR 600 (Super Edition): It has the largest ever Qinghai Lake battery of 8,600mAh, which supports 80W wired fast charging.
- HONOR 600 Pro: This model is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery, which supports 80W wired charging as well as 50W wireless fast charging.
Talking about display and camera, both the smartphones have a 6.57-inch 1.5K Flat OLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and record peak brightness of 8,000 nits. It has 3840Hz PWM dimming technology for eye protection. For photography, HONOR 600 Pro has a 200MP main camera (OIS), 12MP ultra-wide macro lens and 50MP 3.5X periscope telephoto lens. For selfie, there is a 50MP camera on the front. This series comes with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection.
What is its price in Chinese market?
The company has introduced both these devices in different storage configurations, the prices of which have been decided on the basis of Chinese Yuan (CNY):
- HONOR 600 (12GB + 256GB): 3,299 Yuan (approximately ₹46,240)
