New Delhi. Severe heat is being seen in North India. All the states including UP-Bihar, Delhi are facing the heatwave. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that heat wave is going to continue in North India and Central India for the next two days. However, the date of relief from heatwave and scorching heat has also come.

The Meteorological Department has said that from May 29, the maximum temperature will decrease and the heat wave situation will improve. This will provide relief from the scorching heat. At the same time, there will be relief in UP from tomorrow itself. An alert has been issued for rain, storm, lightning and hail from 28 to 31 May in Western Uttar Pradesh.

Scattered heavy to very heavy rain will occur over Northeast and adjoining East India during next two to three days and over South India today on May 27 and over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal during May 27-29. Apart from this, there is an alert of moderate to severe thunderstorm and rainfall with wind speed up to 70 kmph over North India, Central India, East India during 28-30 May.

Talking about Northeast India, there will be light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on May 27, 28. There is going to be scattered rain in Arunachal Pradesh on 1st and 2nd June, in Assam, Meghalaya on 27th and 28th May, in Assam, Meghalaya on 27th and 28th May and on 30th May and 2nd June in Nagaland, Manipur, Majoram, Tripura.

There will be isolated heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal from May 27 to 29, Kerala, Mahe on May 27 and June 1 and 2, Lakshadweep on June 1 and 2, Coastal Karnataka, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Telangana on May 27.

Talking about Eastern India, there is going to be light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during May 27 to June 2, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim during May 27-29, Ganga plains West Bengal during May 27-31. Scattered to moderate rain with thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds is likely over Bihar, Odisha during May 27-31, and Jharkhand during May 27 to June 1.
