Kakoli had resigned from the post of Barasat District President of TMC just a few days ago. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, who is considered very close to Mamata Banerjee, has been in the news for the last few days. Kakoli is angry with Mamata Banerjee after she was removed from the post of TMC Chief Whip in the Lok Sabha. Recently the Central Government has provided him Y category security.

After the results of West Bengal Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee removed Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar from the post of Chief Whip of TMC in the Lok Sabha. In his place, this responsibility was once again given to TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee. After being removed from the post of Chief Whip, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar wrote a post on social media about which the market of discussions became heated.
