5 Bangladeshis living illegally in Delhi arrested, small quarrel exposed; Deportation process started

In a major action, the police have detained 5 Bangladeshi citizens in Mukherjee Nagar area of ​​the capital Delhi. All these people were living illegally in India despite the expiry of their visa period. Now the process of deportation has been started against them.

Actually, Mukherjee Nagar police station was running a special operation against illegal immigrants and foreign nationals overstaying in the area. Meanwhile, the police received information about a minor dispute between two groups. During the investigation, the police noticed that two suspicious persons were continuously talking in Bengali language, after which the local people became suspicious of them and informed the police.

As soon as the information was received, the police formed a special team and started investigating the identity and citizenship of the two suspects. During interrogation, it was revealed that both the youth were living with their three other associates in a rented house in Indira Vikas Colony of Mukherjee Nagar. Investigation revealed that all five persons are citizens of Bangladesh.

Police investigation also revealed that all the accused had reached Delhi by air on different dates. Their aim was reportedly to go to Greece and seek employment. It is being told that since December 2025, he was waiting for an interview call and job offer from Greece. Meanwhile, his visa expired, but he did not leave India.

Investigation also revealed that initially all the people were staying in different hotels in Delhi. Later, after the visa expired, he started living in Indira Vikas Colony with the help of Ganpati Biswas, a resident of Malda, West Bengal.

According to the police, investigation has made it clear that all five citizens were living in India illegally in violation of visa rules. At present, he has been taken into custody and the process of further legal action and deportation has been started.
