Six people shot over land dispute, then cut with sharp weapons, heart-wrenching case from Karnataka

Land Dispute Murder Vijayapura: A very painful incident of mass murder has come to light from Vijayapura district of Karnataka. In Govindpur village of Chadchan taluk, old rivalry and land dispute took such a horrific turn that six people were brutally murdered. The attackers first opened fire and later attacked him with sharp weapons and killed him.

According to preliminary police investigation and local media, there was a long-running dispute over land between the Nirale and Golagi families of Govindpur village. Due to this old rivalry, the attackers sitting in ambush carried out this dreadful incident. The deceased have been identified as Chandu Nirale, Dundappa Nirale, Shivputra Nirale, Rahul Nirale, Samarth Nirale and Shabbir Nadaf. All the deceased were residents of this village.

What is the whole matter?

According to reports, there was a land dispute going on between the families of Nirale and Golagi family. A Panchayat was called between both the parties a few days ago to resolve the matter peacefully.

Today again the people of the Nirala family and their supporters were going to talk again in this regard, when the attackers sitting in ambush attacked them. The attackers first fired indiscriminately at the victims and then attacked them with sharp weapons until they lost their lives.

Heavy police force deployed in the area

As soon as information about this mass murder was received, panic spread in the area and an atmosphere of tension was created. On information, Vijayapura Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi reached the spot with heavy police force and senior officers. Confirming the incident, he said that a case of murder of six people has been registered in Chadchan police station area.

Police engaged in investigation

According to the police, initial suspicion is being cast on some members of the Golagi family, who are said to be absconding at present. Karnataka Police has sent the bodies for post-mortem and special teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Additional police force has been deployed to maintain peace in the village.
