Prime Video announces June 12 as global premiere of heart-wrenching investigative thriller Rakh starring Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir

Tezzbuzz Desk – Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, today announced the worldwide premiere of its upcoming Prime Original series Rakh on June 12. The series is directed and executive produced by Prosit Roy, created, written and co-directed by Anusha Nandkumar and Sandeep Saket, with dialogues written by Ayush Trivedi. The series is produced by Deepak Dhar, Rishi Negi, Mrinalini Jain and Shyam Rathi in association with Endemol Shine India and Bhadipa. Sonali Bendre, Ali Fazal and Aamir Bashir will be seen in lead roles in Rakh. The series will release on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories across the world, including India.

Rakh is an investigative drama series that delves into the criminal mindset and the darkness behind ordinary lives. When two teenagers suddenly disappear without a trace, a happy family is torn apart and the entire town is thrown into panic. A determined investigating officer launches a nationwide manhunt to get to the truth, but as he digs deeper into the case, the case pulls him into a horrific world of violence and human cruelty.
