Vivo Smartphone Launched: Smartphone company Vivo has launched the Vivo T5 smartphone in select global markets. The company has launched this smartphone as the third model in its mid-range T5 lineup. The new smartphone launched will join the already available Vivo T5 Pro 5G and Vivo T5X 5G. The price of the new smartphone launched by the company is less than 40 thousand rupees.

The new smartphone has been launched in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and is priced at MXN 5,799 i.e. around Rs 32,000. The new Vivo T5 is a dual-SIM smartphone, which runs on Android 16 based on OriginOS 6. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.75-inch HD+ (720×1,570 pixels) LCD touchscreen. which offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 83 percent NTSC coverage and a peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits. The tech company claims that the smartphone is rated IP68 + IP69 for protection against dust and water.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset. This processor has four efficiency cores with a clock speed of 1.9GHz and four performance cores with a peak clock speed of 2.9GHz. The smartphone has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
Camera
Talking about the camera, the new Vivo smartphone features a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, the handset has a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone has a 32-megapixel (f/2.45) camera on the front for selfies and video calling. The new device packs a 7,200mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support. For connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo and QZSS. Talking about the onboard sensors, the device includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, IR blaster, gyroscope and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
