While addressing the parade, the Army Chief gave a very big and strong statement. He said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ has made it clear to the whole world that if anyone tries to provoke India, what will be the consequences. He appealed to the future military officers of the country to always maintain this high standard of the country while starting their career.

Changed nature of modern war, now danger does not come in uniform

General Upendra Dwivedi, while addressing the cadets at Khetrapal Parade Ground, spoke openly on the security challenges of the changing times. He said, “In today’s time, threats do not always appear in uniform or on a declared front. Operation Sindoor has amply proved and set a new benchmark that when India’s national will is expressed with precision and determination, the country gives a befitting reply to every provocation. Now the responsibility of maintaining this glorious standard rests on all you young shoulders.”

Jointness is not just a study, mutual coordination between the three armies is the guarantee of victory.

The Army Chief laid special emphasis on the importance of jointmanship between the Army, Navy and Air Force in the modern battlefield. He said that the historic success of Operation Sindoor was the result of the same integrated approach, the strong foundation of which is laid in the NDA. Encouraging the cadets, he said that jointness here is not just a matter of reading in books, but from the very first day, there is a tendency to live together with the soldiers of the three services and die for the country.

Let us tell you that General Dwivedi has been a student of 65th course of NDA and a brave cadet of Charlie Squadron. Reminiscing about his old memories, he said, “More than 42 years ago, I passed out from this very quarter deck. It is a matter of immense pride and honor for me to return to my alma mater today as a Review Officer. This great institution has shaped my life’s values, leadership abilities and my commitment towards service to the nation.”

Brave men of 12 friendly countries also passed out, the grandeur of the parade captivated the mind.

General Dwivedi reviewed the parade during the grand passing out parade where a total of 355 cadets had the honor of joining the Indian Armed Forces. Apart from Indian cadets, this passing out batch also included 24 cadets from 12 friendly foreign countries of India, who will undergo rigorous training from here and leave to serve their country.
