Samaguri: Massive fire in Modern Adarsh ​​Senior Secondary School, property worth lakhs burnt to ashes.

Nagaon (Assam). A massive fire broke out late Saturday night at the Modern Adarsh ​​Senior Secondary School located in Kachkhaiti area of ​​Samguri, causing huge damage. The fire engulfed the main office of the school, destroying important documents, academic records and property worth lakhs of rupees.

According to local sources, after seeing smoke and flames rising from the school premises late at night, people immediately started efforts to extinguish the fire. As soon as information about the incident was received, the fire department team reached the spot and after much effort brought the fire under control. However, by then most of the items kept in the office had been destroyed.

Due to the fire, important records, administrative documents, furniture and other essential materials of the school were completely burnt. According to preliminary estimates, there has been a loss of lakhs of rupees in this incident.

At present the cause of the fire has not been known. The concerned department and administration have started investigating the matter. Also, a detailed assessment of the damage caused is being done.

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of concern among the school administration, parents of students and local people. The administration has assured that necessary steps will be taken after the completion of the investigation.
