Two brothers were going to the world’s highest Shiva temple, died due to lightning

Two brothers from UP lost their lives in Uttarakhand. Both had come to visit Tunganath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. But both of them lost their lives due to lightning on Chandrashila trek near Tungnath. Two youths hailing from Unnao and Lucknow have been rescued safely. The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Abhinav Vajpayee and 22-year-old Abhishek Vajpayee.

 

According to the police, both the brothers were residents of Transport Nagar, Lucknow. Came to Chandrashila for trekking. Both of them lost their lives due to lightning on Friday. His two companions have been saved. Both have been identified as Shubham Shukla, resident of Unnao, and Ajan Mishra, resident of Lucknow. Police say that Abhinav died on the spot.

Elder brother Abhishek was admitted to the primary health center of Ukhimath. Where he also died during treatment. Information about bad weather was received in the SDRF control room on Friday. It was told that some tourists are stranded near Tungnath. After hours of hard work, the people trapped there were taken out. From here Abhinav was brought to Chopta late in the evening.

Yellow alert in many districts

The weather changed in Uttarakhand on Sunday. It rained heavily in Dehradun. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and storm in many districts of the state. Orange alert of hailstorm has been issued in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. There has also been a warning of snowfall in the higher reaches of the state. According to Hindustan report, 18 people have lost their lives in 48 hours. Harimohan of Madhya Pradesh died near Yamunotri. Mansukh Giri of Gujarat lost his life due to a heart attack during the Adi Kailash Yatra.
