IPL Final Viral Memes: In the grand final of IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets and won the title for the second consecutive time. The hero of this match was ‘Chase Master’ Virat Kohli. He played an unbeaten inning of 75 runs to help RCB reach the challenging target of 156 runs given by Gujarat in just 18 overs. Apart from this, Venkatesh Iyer made important contributions to the team by scoring 32 runs and Tim David by scoring 24 runs.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans were restricted to 155/8 in 20 overs by RCB bowling. RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be right. Gujarat captain Shubman Gill and his opening partner Sai Sudarshan were out in the powerplay itself.

Gujarat’s flop batting

Washington Sundar got a lease of life and scored a half-century in Gujarat’s innings. Rasik Salam Dar took three wickets, while Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets each. In this way, RCB’s balanced bowling and Kohli’s explosive batting helped the team win its second consecutive IPL title.
