Commercial LPG cylinder becomes expensive again, prices increased from Rs 42 to Rs 53.50
New Delhi. The country’s oil marketing companies have once again announced an increase in the price of LPG cylinders. However, this increase in price is limited to only 19 kg commercial gas cylinders and five kg small cylinders.
There has been no increase in the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder for domestic use. Oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 42 to Rs 53.50. The new price of the cylinder has come into effect from today itself.
Earlier, on the first of last month i.e. May 1, the price of commercial cylinder was increased by about one thousand rupees. In Delhi this increase was Rs 993, while in Kolkata the price of commercial gas cylinder became Rs 998.50.
Similarly, the price of commercial gas cylinder in Mumbai was increased by Rs 993. Whereas in Chennai, commercial gas cylinder had become costlier by Rs 990.50.
After today’s price increase, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder in the capital Delhi has increased to Rs 3,113.50 and the price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata has increased to Rs 3,255.50.
In Mumbai, commercial gas cylinder is available at the price of Rs 3,063.50 since this morning, while in Chennai the price of commercial gas cylinder has increased to Rs 3,281.50.
Like commercial gas cylinders, the price of five kilogram Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinder, popularly known as Chhotu cylinder, has also been increased by Rs 11 from today. After this increase, the price of five kilogram FTL cylinder has increased from Rs 821.50 to Rs 832.50.
As far as the 14.2 kg LPG cylinder used for domestic use is concerned, there is no change in its price. The last change in the price of domestic gas cylinder was on March 7, 2026 this year.
On March 7, the price of domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 60. According to the information provided by Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s leading oil marketing company, the price of non-subsidized 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is currently Rs 913 in Delhi.
Similarly, the price of domestic LPG cylinder in Mumbai is at the level of Rs 912.50. At the same time, in Kolkata, consumers are getting domestic LPG cylinder at the price of Rs 939, while in Chennai the price of domestic LPG cylinder is currently Rs 928.50.
