Will LPG cylinders of PNG users be stopped?

The government has implemented a very strict and new provision for LPG gas consumers. Now those families who have Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections in their homes and are also availing the facility of LPG Cylinder, will have to come under the ambit of the new rules. The government has expedited the process of identifying consumers with such dual connections. According to the new guidelines, if you do not follow the prescribed terms and conditions, your LPG connection may be permanently blocked, deactivated or cancelled.

Heavy tax imposed on petrol, diesel and aviation fuel

The Central Government has also taken a big decision regarding the export of petroleum products. Now companies will have to pay additional export duty if they send petrol, diesel and aviation fuel (ATF) out of the country. Under the new rules, a new export duty of Rs 1.5 per liter has been imposed on the export of petrol, a whopping Rs 13.5 per liter on diesel and Rs 9.5 per liter on ATF. The government believes that this step will curb the sending of oil to the foreign market and the availability of fuel in our own domestic market will remain better.

Shock for those installing solar panels, equipment may become expensive

To promote renewable energy i.e. clean energy across the country, the government has taken another big step and fully implemented ALMM List-II. After the introduction of this new rule, now only those solar modules and cells can be used in any government scheme or subsidized solar projects, which are approved and certified by the government. The aim of the government is to ensure the quality and strength of solar panels through this. However, after this decision, industry experts say that due to new stringent rules, there may be a significant increase in the prices of solar equipment in the coming days.
