IPL 2026 Awards: Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s magic, made history by winning 5 big awards, rain from car to lakhs of rupees

Tezzbuzz Desk- The IPL 2026 season is over, but this time the 15-year-old young batsman of Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, is being talked about the most. With his explosive performance, he not only broke records but also dominated the awards night to such an extent that the entire spotlight remained on him.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who scored the most runs in the entire season, has created history by winning five major individual awards in a single season. He has become the first player to do so in IPL history.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the first to be awarded the Orange Cap at the awards night, under which he received Rs 10 lakh for scoring 776 runs. After this, he was also given the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, for which he received a reward of Rs 15 lakh. Apart from this, he also got the title of Emerging Player of the Season, which included Rs 10 lakh and trophy.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a new record by hitting a total of 72 sixes this season. In this case, he also left behind West Indies legend Chris Gayle’s record of 59 sixes. For this brilliant performance, he was honored with the Super Six Award, which carried Rs 10 lakh.

Vaibhav was named Super Striker of the Season for scoring runs at the fastest and most dangerous strike rate in the season. For this special achievement, he was given a Tata Sierra car as a reward. Last season, he got Tata Curve car (Tata Curvv) in the same category.

Even though Rajasthan Royals missed out on winning the title, Vaibhav Suryavanshi left a deep impression on the entire tournament with his batting. He also became the uncapped player with the highest run scorer in a season. Apart from this, he became the youngest batsman in IPL history to complete 1000 runs in the fewest number of balls.

IPL 2026 has established Vaibhav Suryavanshi as a new superstar. His performance proved that the future of Indian cricket is very bright and he can create even bigger records in the coming years.
