Jim Sarbh’s childhood and relationship with nature
Actor Jim Sarbh will soon be seen in his new OTT show ‘Made in India: A Titan Story’. During the promotion of this show, he reminisced about his childhood and said that his childhood was spent in the natural environment of Sydney, which was very simple and memorable.
Jim said he came to Sydney in 1991, but took up residence in an old mansion in the suburbs, not in the busy part of the city.
He shared that all the children in that area were close to each other and this lifestyle was important in shaping their personality.
The actor said, “My childhood was very simple and lovely. There was a park in front of our house and every house had a backyard, where children could play easily.”
Jim further explained that his backyard was full of birds like parrots and kookaburras. If they threw food, the kookaburra would eat it.
He also said that children should grow up close to nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Parents should try to bring children to the natural environment.
Jim also said that as a child, he was fond of TV and would spend hours watching weather reports or news. He said that if today’s technology was available, he would have made full use of it.
Currently, Jim is excited about his new show ‘Made in India: A Titan Story’, which is based on the events of pre-liberalisation India in the 1990s.
