Shilpa Shinde’s shocking revelation after 11 years, said- ‘The case of sexual harassment was false’

New Delhi: Famous TV industry actress Shilpa Shinde has made a big revelation about the most controversial chapter of her career. Speaking openly for the first time after 11 years on the controversy that started after leaving the popular show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’, he shared many important things.

During a conversation in Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast ‘Bharti TV’, Shilpa Shinde told that there was a lot of mental pressure on her during that period. In the same conversation, he admitted that the case of sexual harassment filed against the producer was not completely true.

Relations deteriorated after ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’

Shilpa Shinde told that despite the success of the show, differences had started increasing between her and the production house. According to her, she was being pressurized to sign such an exclusive contract, after which she could not work in any other project.

The actress says that when she refused to accept this condition, an attempt was made to put her under pressure. He said, "I was told that if you did not listen to us, we would make you sit at home. You won’t get work anywhere."

‘Suddenly it was said that there is no shoot from tomorrow.’

According to Shilpa, preparations had already been made to remove her from the show. He told that at a time when he was not even getting leave, he was suddenly told that he would not be shooting from the next day.

He said, "The shoot of my 10-day episode was finished in just two days. Then news started appearing in the newspapers that I had been thrown out of the show."

He believes that at that time all this was being done to weaken and scare him mentally.

Claim of receiving legal notice worth crores of rupees

As the controversy escalated, the matter reached a legal battle. Shilpa claimed that huge amount of legal notices were sent to her, due to which the situation became more tense.

He said, "If I had not been mentally strong, I might have broken down. I was getting notices worth Rs 12 crore, Rs 20 crore. Even my lawyer was bought. The case was going on here and when I called, he was sitting in London."

Disclosure regarding sexual harassment case

During the podcast, Shilpa Shinde also shared something which surprised everyone. He said, "Today I am admitting this for the first time. I had filed a case of sexual harassment against my producer, but it was a lie."

She also became emotional while saying this.

‘I had no option left’

Shilpa told that at that time she felt that all the doors were being closed for her. According to him, this is why he took that step.

He said, "I had no option left. I had left the show, but even after that I was not being left. Pressure was being created from all sides."

According to the actress, even while filing the complaint with the police, she was told that serious allegations would have to be made to register the case.

Relations normalized after the agreement

After a long dispute, an agreement was reached between the two parties. Shilpa told that after this her dues were also paid.

He said that under the terms of the agreement, both parties had agreed not to make statements against each other in the media in future.

Shilpa Shinde told that today the relations between her and the production team are normal. He said, "Today our relations are very good. At that time the circumstances were such that I had to fight. But now things have changed."
