Salman Khan’s team moves against film linked to Blackbuck case

A legal fight seems to be brewing around Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacya film that is said to be inspired by Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching case.

The 60-year-old’s legal team has reportedly sent a notice to the film’s producers and director, asking them to stop the movie’s release.

The notice also seeks the removal of posters and other promotional material linked to the project.

It further warns that more legal action could follow if the demands are not met.

The film is produced by Amit Jani, who has earlier backed projects based on controversial real-life incidents.

He had previously produced a film inspired by the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal.

The notice has now put a question mark over the future of Kala Hiran and whether it will hit screens as planned.

Meanwhile, Jani Firefox Media Private Limited has gone ahead and released the film’s first-look poster.

The movie is directed by Bharat S Shrinate and produced by Amit Jani.

According to the makers, the film takes inspiration from real-life legal battles and action-packed events.

They say it has been made on a larger scale with an international-style approach. The poster shows a mysterious central character against a red and blue background, hinting at an action thriller with plenty of suspense.

The makers have announced that the teaser will be released on June 20.

Reacting to the legal notice, Amit Jani alleged that the move was intended to intimidate those associated with the project.

In a statement, he claimed that the notice was meant to pressure people into backing down because of Salman Khan’s star power.

So far, Salman Khan and his legal team have not responded publicly to Jani’s allegations.
