New twist in paper leak case, accused Yash Yadav said – I have to give NEET exam on 21st June, need book for preparation.
Tezzbuzz Desk- The judicial custody of the accused arrested in the NEET UG paper leak case has been extended once again. All the accused were produced during the hearing of the case in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday (June 2), where the court ordered to extend their custody till June 15.
During this time, one of the accused, Yash Yadav, applied in the court and asked for permission to keep books for exam preparation. Yash says that he has to appear in the NEET UG exam to be held on 21st June, for which he needs study material.
During the hearing, Mangilal Biwal, Vikas Biwal, Dinesh Biwal, Yash Yadav and Dhananjay Lokhande were produced in the court after the judicial custody period ended. Considering the seriousness of the case, the court extended the custody period of all the accused.
Accused Yash Yadav has requested the court to allow him to keep books and study material for exam preparation. He says that he wants to take the exam and preparation is necessary for this. However, no immediate decision has come from the court on this and the matter is under consideration.
The investigation into the NEET UG paper leak case is ongoing and the accused are being interrogated at multiple levels. The investigating agencies are busy finding out how the entire conspiracy of the paper leak was hatched and which people played a role in it. The court has clarified that the hearing of the case will proceed regularly and all aspects will be investigated as per the judicial process.
