The incident took place in the morning and after the video went viral on social media, the police immediately started a rescue and search operation.

Information about the incident: In the morning, passers-by reported seeing a girl jumping into the river from Chhatai bridge. As soon as the information was received, Khajani police station in-charge Inspector Jayant Singh reached the spot with the police force and immediately a search operation was started in the river. The team of divers is searching different parts of the river with the help of boat. The operation remains challenging due to the contaminated water of Aami river.

Till the time of writing the news, no body or concrete clue has been found, due to which the entire matter remains a mystery.
Family’s apprehension: As soon as the news of the incident was received, the entire family of Rajesh Yadav, resident of Gram Sabha Shairo Ban of Bansgaon police station area, reached the spot. The family told that their daughter Neelu Yadav had left the house in the morning.

According to the family, Neelu had gone out of the house after being scolded by her father. After that there was no trace of him. Neelu’s brother Anil Yadav said emotionally on the spot, “Is that girl my sister?” The family’s worries are increasing.

Khajni police station in-charge Inspector Jayant Singh said that the case is being thoroughly investigated on the basis of viral video, statements of eyewitnesses and available facts. “Until the girl is identified or the body is recovered, it would be premature to draw any conclusions,” he said.

Police are continuously conducting search operations with the help of local divers and villagers. Present situation: At present there is a huge crowd gathered on the river bank. The family and local people are hopeful that the girl will be found safely. The police is investigating the entire matter from every aspect, including suicide, some dispute or any other possibility.
