Uttar Pradesh: Now Fazilnagar of Kushinagar will be known as Pavagadh, CM Yogi announced, said – both mosquitoes and mafia are eliminated from UP.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. He has announced to change the name of Fazil Nagar to Pavagadh. The Chief Minister said why should this place be called Fazil and he has accepted the demand of the MLA of Fazil Nagar to change the name. Now this place will be known as Pavagadh.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed to eliminate both mosquitoes and mafia from Uttar Pradesh. He said that just as mafia rule has ended in the state, similarly diseases like encephalitis have also been controlled. The Chief Minister stressed that his government has completely eliminated the mafia along with mosquitoes. He told that while mosquitoes used to spread diseases, the mafia used to cause unemployment. Both these problems have been resolved. Taking aim at the old system, the Chief Minister said that earlier riots used to break out during festivals, like the riots in Padrauna. He alleged that those seeking justice were put in jail.

CM Yogi’s attack on opposition

In his address, CM Yogi also fiercely targeted the opposition. He said that those who are below 25 years of age may not know about the terror of ‘Jungle Party’. The Chief Minister reminded that Kushinagar was once one of the worst affected districts, where farmers were devastated. He told that earlier there were neither roads, nor electricity, nor water nor any kind of facility was available. Mafia rule was prevalent everywhere. He asked people to remember the situation nine-ten years ago, when there was an identity crisis. Farmers were forced to commit suicide and the general public was plagued by mafia and criminals. There was lack of good system of health and education. He said that there was a lack of facilities inside UP and even outside UP, people had to face identity crisis.

Chief Minister gave a big gift to Kushinagar

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 278 development projects costing Rs 424 crore in Kushinagar on Tuesday. Addressing the program, CM Yogi said that now Kushinagar has its own medical college. Apart from this, the operation of Agriculture and Technology University in Kushinagar is also being started from this academic session.

Enumerating the achievements of the double engine government, CM Yogi said that houses have been provided to about 90 thousand poor families in Kushinagar alone. Besides, toilets have also been constructed for more than 3 lakh 14 thousand poor families. These projects will play an important role in the development of the area and provide better facilities to the public.
