According to reports, according to the official statement issued by the Russian government on Monday, this ban will remain in effect till November 30. The main objective of this step is to meet the increasing demand for fuel in the Russian domestic market and keep the price stable.

Russia is one of the world’s largest exporters of refined petroleum products. Despite this, he had to take this tough decision due to two main reasons.

The main reason behind this sudden big decision is believed to be that due to reduced production and changing seasonal factors, the demand for aviation fuel within Russia has increased rapidly. Maintaining adequate reserves for its domestic air traffic and military needs has become the first priority for the government.

This decision of Russia may affect the fuel supply chain around the world, due to which there is a possibility of a rise in global prices of aviation fuel in the coming days. However, the Russian administration has made it clear that supplies will continue to those countries with which they have already finalized intergovernmental agreements.
