Journey to Kailash Mansarovar, then left IPS job, how Shiva’s residence changed Annamalai’s thinking

His career as a successful IPS officer was going great, but after the Kailash Mansarovar journey, he started looking at his life from a completely different perspective.

This journey later became the reason for his big decisions. Those moments of peace and introspection of the Himalayas changed his thinking, after which he decided to leave a successful IPS career and choose a new path.

When Annamalai worshiped Kailash Mansarovar

Annamalai has been in police service for a long time. Work pressure, responsibilities and a constantly busy life had become a part of him. At such a time he got a chance to go to Kailash Mansarovar. The time spent in the serene valleys of the Himalayas and in front of Mount Kailash gave him an opportunity to think about himself. In the peace there, he realized that life is not limited to just job, position and identity. A person should take out time for himself and his family also.

What did Annamalai understand during the journey?

According to reports, Annamalai had stated in her thoughts regarding her resignation that the Kailash Mansarovar journey proved to be an eye-opening experience for her. During this time, he understood that family, mental peace and peace of mind are as important as progress in life. Despite being a successful police officer, he felt that he was moving away from some important aspects of life. This experience inspired him to rethink his priorities.

When Annamalai left IPS job

After returning from the trip to Kailash Mansarovar, there was a big change in Annamalai’s thinking. He started looking at life from a different perspective than before. At the same time, the death of senior IPS officer Madhukar Shetty also forced him to think that life is very uncertain and no one knows what will happen next. These experiences had a deep impact on Annamalai. He realized that job and position are not everything in life. After this he decided to leave the IPS job and walk on a new path.
