International Kabaddi star Biharipuriya joins AAP, expresses confidence in party’s pro-people policies

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a huge response when the famous international Kabaddi player Kinda Biharipuriya, who is known in the world of Kabaddi, "Leopard" He is said to have attended the party on Tuesday along with several other prominent sports personalities and social leaders.

OSD Rajbir Singh Ghuman welcomed into the party  

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD Rajbir Singh Ghuman formally welcomed the newly joined members into the party. He said that the continuous support of well-known sportspersons and youth leaders shows the confidence of the people in the policies and governance of the AAP government.

Those who attended the party included international Kabaddi players Kinda Biharipuriya, Jeeta Badalgarh, Babbu Jhenedi and Sema Ghracho. Kabaddi players Malkit Singh and Barinder Singh also joined the party. Apart from this, famous referee Satgur Jhanedi, international commentator Kulbir Timberwal, youth leaders Amarinder Singh Rodiyan and Satnam Singh Virk along with Manjot Singh and Hardeep Singh also joined AAP.

Welcoming the new members, Rajbir Singh Ghuman said that the AAP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is working tirelessly for the welfare of every section of the society including the youth and sports world. He expressed confidence that with the joining of these well-known personalities in the party, the party will become stronger at the grassroots level and will help in conveying its message to the people.

The new members said that they are very impressed with the transparent governance of Bhagwant Mann government and working in the interest of the people. He said that the efforts being made by the government in the fields of education, health, employment, sports and public welfare have inspired him to join the Aam Aadmi Party and contribute to the development of Punjab.
