Stock Market Today: Sensex fell below 74,000 points due to anger in the stock market, there was pressure in these sectors; Know the condition of Nifty

Mumbai. There was a decline in the domestic stock markets in early trading on Tuesday and the BSE Sensex fell below 74 thousand points for the first time in eight weeks. Sensex opened 322.14 points lower at 73,945.20 points. For the first time after April 07 this year, it has fallen below 74 thousand marks.

The Sensex fell 302.21 points (0.41 percent) to 73965.13. Except IT, Metal and Realty, indices of all other groups remained in the red. Especially the Nifty IT index rose by about two and a half percent.

Know the condition of Nifty

Banking, finance, FMCG, health and pharma groups remained under pressure. The Nifty-50 index of the National Stock Exchange opened 153.45 points lower at 23,229.15 points. It slipped 99.85 points or 0.43 percent to 23,282.75. Among Sensex companies, Bajaj Finance’s share is down by two and a half percent and NTPC’s share is down by more than two percent.

More decline in these sectors

Shares of Bajaj Finserv and Power Grid have fallen by more than one and a half percent. Indigo, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel and UltraTech Cement are also down more than one percent. Among IT companies, the share of Infosys is rising by more than four percent and that of TCS is rising by three and a half percent. HCL Technologies is up by two and a quarter percent and Tech Mahindra is up by more than one and a half percent. Tata Steel shares are also up one percent.
