Siddharth Kaul: There have been many players in Indian cricket who have made their mark by performing brilliantly, but could not make a long career at the international level. One such player is former Indian fast bowler Siddharth Kaul, who has once earned crores of rupees in IPL. But now he is leaving cricket and working in the banking sector.

Siddharth has played for the Indian team

Siddharth Kaul has played 3 ODI and 3 T20 International matches for the Indian cricket team. He was a part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. However, due to not getting consistent opportunities, he decided to retire from all forms of cricket in 2024.

36-year-old Siddharth Kaul, who represents Punjab in domestic cricket, is now working in the State Bank of India branch in Chandigarh. After retiring from cricket, Kaul started a new innings of his career in the banking sector.

Siddharth Kaul IPL career

Despite not getting many opportunities at the international level, Siddharth Kaul performed brilliantly in the IPL. In the 2008 IPL season, Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs 20 lakh, although he did not get a chance to play this season. After this, he was not a part of any team for about four years.

For IPL 2013, Delhi Daredevils bought him for Rs 50 lakh and he returned to the IPL. After this, Delhi retained him for Rs 45 lakh for the 2014 season. After playing two consecutive seasons for Delhi, Siddharth joined Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad spent Rs 3.80 crore on him in the auction held for IPL 2018 and retained him in the team. Till 2021, Kaul remained a part of Hyderabad. After this, he was seen playing for RCB in 2022-2023. RCB included him in their team for 75 lakhs. However, after 2023, Siddharth did not get a chance to play in IPL.

Talking about Siddharth Kaul’s IPL career, he has played a total of 55 matches in IPL, in which he has taken a total of 58 wickets.
