Administration action on Badshah’s club, ‘SAGO By Badshah’ sealed for violation of rules

Tezzbuzz Desk – In Chandigarh, the administration has taken major action against the club associated with the name of famous rapper and singer Badshah. ‘SAGO By Badshah’ club located in Sector-26 has been sealed on charges of violation of rules. This action was taken by the Enforcement Wing of Chandigarh Administration, which has increased strictness on many clubs and discos in the city in recent times.

According to the information, the administration had received complaints of several irregularities and violations of rules in the running of the club. After investigation, a notice was issued to the club management seeking their reply. However, after not receiving a satisfactory response and finding lapses, the administration decided to seal the club on June 2.

Sector-26 of Chandigarh is considered to be the main nightlife hub of the city, where a large number of clubs and discos operate. In the last few days, the administration has also taken action against many other clubs of the same area. Notices have also been issued to two to three other establishments for ignoring rules and violating license conditions.

According to police and administrative sources, several technical and regulatory deficiencies were revealed in SAGO By Badshah during the inspection. On this basis the club has been temporarily closed and sealed. However, the authorities have not yet made the detailed report public.

The administration says that all the entertainment venues operating in the city will have to follow the prescribed rules and safety standards. Similar action will continue against establishments violating the rules.

At present, there has been no official reaction from the club management on this action. At the same time, due to the ongoing investigation and inspection campaign by the administration, there is movement among other club operators of Sector-26 also.
