Prayagraj. The brutal murder of a truck owner in Bhita village of Ghurpur police station area on Wednesday morning created a sensation in the entire area. Unknown assailants killed a young man who was sleeping outside his house by hitting him on his head with a heavy object. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. There is an atmosphere of panic and mourning in the village due to this incident of murder.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Prajapati (32 years), son of Agam Lal Prajapati, resident of Bhita village. He was a truck owner and was involved in the transportation business. According to family members, Rajesh had gone to sleep under the shed outside his house on Tuesday night as usual. They were attacked by unknown assailants on Wednesday morning.

According to preliminary information, the attackers hit Rajesh several times on his head with a heavy object, due to which he died on the spot. In the morning, when the family members and people around woke up, they were shocked to see Rajesh lying in a bloody condition. As soon as the information was received, a large number of villagers reached the spot.

As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in the family of the deceased. The family members are in bad condition and crying. A wave of mourning ran in the village also. According to the local people, Rajesh was a person of friendly nature and was well known in the area.

On receiving the information, Ghurpur police station immediately reached the spot, took possession of the body and started investigation. The police have inspected the incident site and collected necessary evidence. Important clues are being collected from the spot with the help of the forensic team.

Officials say that the investigation is being done keeping in mind the possibility of personal rivalry, business dispute or any other reason behind the murder.
