Jani said, ‘When I released the poster of the film, I received many calls from Lawrence Bishnoi’s supporters, but the manner of conversation was civil. The messages I have received regarding the current controversy include abuses and threats. Some messages are also allegedly being sent in the name of D-Company. Due to all this, I tore the notice sent by Salman Khan’s legal team.

The controversy is about the film ‘Blackbuck’, which is reportedly based on the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and incidents related to it.
