Xiaomi 17T launch India: Expanding its flagship Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi has introduced the new Xiaomi 17T smartphone in India. The handset is in the news for its Leica-tuned camera technology and powerful hardware. The new phone comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, making it a strong contender in the premium segment.
Specifications and features
The biggest feature of Xiaomi 17T is its camera setup. It has a Leica-backed triple rear camera system. The main camera is a 50-megapixel ‘Light Fusion 800’ sensor. Additionally, it has a 50-megapixel Leica 5x periscope telephoto lens (with OIS support) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. This setup gives a great photography experience with 115mm equivalent focal length.
The phone has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset powers the phone. For better cooling, the company’s ‘3D IceLoop’ system has been installed in it. The device runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
For power, it has a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 67W HyperCharge fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Other features include IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and NavIC.
Price and offers in India
The price of 12GB + 256GB variant of Xiaomi 17T is Rs 59,999 and the price of 12GB + 512GB variant is Rs 64,999. There is a discount or exchange bonus of Rs 5,000 available with select bank cards (HDFC, SBI, American Express, ICICI), making its effective price starting at Rs 54,999.
Additionally, no-cost EMI for up to 18 months and a buyback offer of 60% is also available. The sale of the phone will start from June 10 on the company’s website, Amazon and retail stores.
