Patna. The troubles of Khan Sir, a famous teacher and coaching operator in the capital Patna, seem to be increasing. An FIR has been registered against him in Kadamkuan police station under sections related to attempt to murder and Arms Act. After the case registered by the police, the whole incident has taken a new turn and the investigating agencies have started investigating the matter in detail.
According to police sources, this case has been registered on the basis of the statement of Khan sir’s security guards. The guards reportedly told the police that they were asked to open fire and were assured that the situation would be handled further. On the basis of this statement, the police have registered a case against Khan sir under section 109 of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and other relevant sections.
Police officials say that during the investigation of the case, a video has also come to light, in which there are indications of aerial firing by security personnel outside Khan sir’s coaching centre. After verification of the video and other evidence, the police have also started investigating the role of the two guards. According to officials, legal action is being taken forward after preliminary investigation confirmed aerial firing.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting was also organized at the police headquarters and Inspector General (IG) office level regarding the law and order situation. The entire matter was reviewed in the meeting and it was decided to continuously monitor the situation. The police have appealed to the students and common citizens not to pay heed to any kind of rumor or misleading information and cooperate with the administration in maintaining law and order.
After the FIR was registered, legal preparations from Khan sir’s side have also intensified. According to the information, his advocate reached the coaching institute and studied the documents of the case. However, there has been no official response from Khan sir or his representatives in this matter.
It is noteworthy that on June 2, Khan sir himself had alleged that there was firing outside the coaching institute. However, he later amended his statement and said that outside the coaching, some people tore banners and posters and carried out the incident of assault. After this, the police took action and arrested three people including Roshan Anand, director of Gyanbindu Coaching.
At present the police is investigating the entire matter from various aspects. Officials say that further action will be taken on the basis of available evidence, video footage, eyewitness statements and other technical evidence. Considering the sensitivity of the matter, the police is thoroughly examining all the facts before reaching any conclusion.
