New update for land buyers in UP, process will be easy

Lucknow. There will soon be a big change in the process of buying and selling property in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi government is working towards integrating the registry system and revenue records. After the implementation of this new system, the process of name transfer (filing-dismissal) will be automatically considered complete immediately after registration, due to which people will not have to make rounds of tehsils.

Records will be updated along with the registry

Under the new system, as soon as a property is registered, its information will be directly updated in the records of the Revenue Department. This may eliminate the need to apply for name transfer separately. The government aims to make the entire process fast and transparent.

Promotion of e-Khatauni and digital records

In the new system, e-Khatauni and digital records are being given priority. With this, land related documents will be available online and any kind of investigation or verification process will become easier. This will also increase transparency.

Will get freedom from the hassle of tehsil

Till now, people have to apply separately in the tehsils for registration and rejection, due to which many times the process remains pending for months. After the implementation of the new system, this problem will be eliminated to a great extent.

Fraud will be banned

The government believes that due to separation of property records and registry data, many types of disputes and frauds arise. After digital integration, complete records will be available on a single platform, which is expected to prevent problems like double selling and wrong entries.
