K. Annamalai New Party: Annamalai’s big bang as soon as he left BJP! Announced new party, said this big thing about CM Vijay

After resigning from the primary membership of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former IPS officer K. Annamalai has burst a huge bomb in Tamil Nadu politics. The message Annamalai gave regarding Tamil Nadu politics in her first 23-minute live address after leaving BJP has given sleepless nights to the opposition parties. He clearly said that the big and historic change that the people of the state are expecting is not possible at all by relying only on one Chief Minister.

Annamalai indirectly took a dig at Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister and superstar Thalapathy Vijay without naming anyone. He said that to completely change the fate and picture of Tamil Nadu, there is a need for change not in any one face but in the entire political system. Presenting the complete outline of his new political movement to the country, Annamalai announced that this movement will take the form of a very strong political party in future and will contest with full strength in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections of 2031.

A single Chief Minister cannot change the fate of Tamil Nadu

In her frank address, Annamalai showed the mirror of reality to the people of the state and said that the people of Tamil Nadu today are assuming that some miraculous person will come and change everything overnight, but in practice it is not possible at all. He said, “A single Chief Minister cannot change the whole of Tamil Nadu. Not only that, neither 234 MLAs nor 39 MPs together can change the current situation in the state.”

This explosive statement by Annamalai has come at a time when actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay has recently taken oath as the Chief Minister after his grand entry into politics. It is noteworthy that Vijay’s party ‘Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam’ (TVK) has emerged as the largest party in the assembly elections, due to which a wave of his name is going on in the state.

Cleanliness of the system is necessary from Panchayat to top level

Annamalai said that if we really want to make Tamil Nadu a developed and prosperous state, we will have to start from the grassroots level. For this, the entire government and political system, from the Panchayat representatives, councilors, mayors to the top leadership, will have to be fundamentally changed. He stressed, “Now the time has come that we have to strengthen the politics of the common man at all costs and not the politics of personality worship of any one person.” He also said that now there is a strong need to bring forward people with clean and spotless image to clean the mud of politics.

Command will be in the hands of honest and talented people

Former Kadak IPS officer Annamalai, while giving the formula to make politics clean, said that it is necessary to bring in qualified people to improve the system. He said, “We have to bring such honest, capable and efficient people on the political platform, who have vision and who do not just keep government schemes on paper, but can implement every project on the ground with complete honesty.”

World record made as soon as it was launched! 10 lakh people connected in 10 hours

Annamalai claimed that no one had even imagined the public support that his new and unique political movement is getting. He shared the shocking figures through a post on his social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter). Annamalai said that within just 10 hours of the beginning of the movement, more than 10 lakh people have taken its online membership.

He wrote emotionally, “Our new political movement has achieved a very important and historic achievement. In just 10 hours, more than 10 lakh people have registered themselves. This figure clearly shows the unwavering and growing faith of the public in our common vision, policy and mission.” Along with this, he also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the people who joined him in this new journey.

VIP culture will not work in the party, no one will be permanent!

Putting an end to the ongoing speculations regarding his new step, Annamalai said that his new movement is not directly linked to any established political party at present. its name “We the Leader” (We The Leaders). This movement will carry out its activities under the banner of ‘APJ Abdul Kalam Center for Ethics and Politics’ located in Coimbatore. However, he clarified that in future this movement will take the form of a new political party and will contest elections with full strength.

Annamalai has already made public the very strict and shocking rules of her upcoming party. He said, “There will be no permanent leader in my party. Neither will there be any permanent MLA, nor will there be any permanent MP nor will anyone sit on the ministerial chair forever.” He believes that this rule will end dynasty and VIP culture in politics and opportunities will continue to be created for new and promising youth to move forward in politics.

There has been a stagnation in the politics of Tamil Nadu, now there is a fight between each other.

Attacking the existing parties in the state, Annamalai said that Tamil Nadu politics has been stuck at one place for a long time and has become a victim of stagnation. This entire rusted system now needs a complete overhaul. He made it clear that his new movement will not run on the whims or wishes of any one person, but it will be much higher and bigger than his own personal leadership. Its sole objective is to bring about a comprehensive and revolutionary change in the entire political system of Tamil Nadu.

I will respect PM Modi wholeheartedly, but will not close my eyes to wrong policies.

In this long address, Annamalai also made her position completely clear to the country regarding BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that he will always personally respect the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but it does not mean that he will agree to everything. If necessary, he will openly express his disagreement with full courage and decency.

Making a big disclosure, Annamalai said that she had shared this very difficult decision of leaving BJP not through any third leader, but by sitting face to face with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. He said that he has no personal enmity or enmity with BJP. Now he will look at BJP from the same perspective as he looks at other political parties in the country.

Big vacuum created in Tamil Nadu as DMK and AIADMK weaken

Annamalai believes that there is ample opportunity and space for the emergence of a third and new political force on the soil of Tamil Nadu. Appealing to the public, he said, “Now we will have to come out of the politics of personality worship and big cutouts at all costs. This will be the politics of the common man of the new era, where there will be no compromise on principles and public interest.”

Recalling the days of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he said that at that time also I had said that a huge political vacuum has been created in Tamil Nadu. This is because both the parties DMK (DMK) and AIADMK (AIADMK) have lost the tallest and biggest leaders of their respective times forever and now the public is looking for a new option.

Interesting story of IIM Lucknow studies and internship with ‘Captain’ Vijaykant

Annamalai also emotionally mentioned the struggle in the initial days of her political journey. He told that in the year 2009, when he was pursuing his MBA from the country’s prestigious institute IIM Lucknow, he had done an internship for three months in the election campaign of late veteran actor and DMDK founder ‘Captain’ Vijaykant.

He told that for this he had taken special permission from his management institute and was directly associated with Vijaykant in the management of his Lok Sabha election campaign. According to Annamalai, this unique experience at the grassroots level became the strongest foundation of his 17-year long journey of public life and politics.

Before entering politics, there was a big discussion in a closed room at Thalaiva Rajinikanth’s house.

Revealing another biggest secret of her political journey, Annamalai said that just before officially joining BJP in the year 2020, she had an hours-long discussion with South Indian megastar Rajinikanth at his residence. He told that at that time there were three main things going on in his mind – the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu, the health and welfare of superstar Rajinikanth and his own political future.

He told that at that time there was a terrible Covid-19 epidemic going on in the country, seeing which he felt that it would be best for Rajnikanth’s health to stay away from this chaos of politics. After this Annamalai told that he had contacted BJP National General Secretary B.L. To fulfill his old promise made to Santosh, he joined BJP in the year 2020. He said, “After joining BJP, I had personally apologized to Rajinikanth ji. I will always have immense respect for him.”

As soon as Annamalai left, Tamil Nadu BJP fell like a pack of cards, a flurry of resignations started.

There has been a flurry of resignations from state BJP leaders in support of Annamalai. It is reported that more than 15 senior and senior officials, including the state level Vice President and Secretary, have collectively kicked out the BJP and broken ties with the party.
