Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Maiden Call UP to Team India: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday, June 6, announced Team India for the England-Ireland tour as well as the Asian Games 2026. During this time, 15 year old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been given a place in the squad. Which means that after IPL, this promising batsman will now be seen showing his talent in International T20 matches for Team India.

Apart from this, the board has taken a big decision for this tour and appointed Shreyas Iyer as the captain of the T20 team and Tilak Verma as the vice-captain. For the last few days, there has been a continuous demand for Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s entry in Team India and Shreyas Iyer’s captaincy of the T20 team. Vaibhav Suryavanshi got the award for lethal batting in IPL 2026

The selectors have rewarded Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his explosive batting in IPL 2026 and have included him in the squad of Asian Games 2026 apart from the Ireland and England series. It is noteworthy that Vaibhav had won five major awards in IPL 2026. During this period, the 15-year-old young batsman scored the maximum of 776 runs, which included 72 sixes. During this period his strike rate was more than 237.

Shreyas became the captain and Tilak Verma became the vice-captain.

BCCI has shown Suryakumar Yadav the way out of the T20 team. At the same time, keeping the future in mind, Shreyas Iyer has been given the command of the team.
