Ganguly, who is also known by the nickname ‘Dada’, has said in a letter to media organizations that all such allegations are completely baseless. He has requested not to believe in such rumors and speculations. It was being said that former Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wanted Yusuf Pathan to resign from the post of MP so that Mamata Banerjee could contest from the same constituency in the upcoming by-election.
