Petrol Diesel Price Today 6 June: There was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on June 6. Since the last increase on May 25, the process of change in prices has stopped. At that time, oil marketing companies (OMCs) had increased the prices of petrol and diesel by more than ₹2.50 per litre, taking the total increase since May 15 to around ₹7.50 per litre.
Fuel prices across the country are now at their highest level since May 2022. Except for a cut of ₹2 per liter announced in March 2024, prices had remained largely stable for more than two years.
