Domestic LPG Price Hike: Amidst the global energy crisis due to the Iran-America war, the problems of the common man in India seem to be increasing. On Sunday, the price of domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) has been increased by Rs 29. Which is going to directly impact the common man’s kitchen. Earlier on March 7, an increase of Rs 60 per cylinder was announced.

Apart from domestic LPG, there was no change in the prices of commercial LPG and 5-kg FTL on Sunday (June 7, 2026). After several increases in the prices of both these types of cylinders, the total has increased by ₹ 1,345 and ₹ 323 per cylinder respectively. This is the second time in three months that prices have been increased, as state-run fuel companies grapple with rising energy prices globally. Industry sources say that this increase has only partially compensated for the loss on domestic LPG sales.
