Honda Scooter: Honda ADV 160 maxi scooter will be launched in India soon, know its cool features and looks

Honda Scooter: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is preparing to play a big bet in the Indian premium scooter segment. The company may soon launch its popular adventure-style maxi scooter Honda ADV 160 in the Indian market. Already popular in the international markets, this scooter offers a great blend of style, performance and practicality. According to reports, Honda ADV 160 will be launched in India to compete with models like Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160. Its expected ex-showroom price could be between Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 1.60 lakh.

Adventure-Inspired Design
The design of Honda ADV 160 makes it different from common scooters. It has a large windscreen, muscular body panel, LED headlights and LED taillights. Better ground clearance and 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels will help it perform better even on bad roads. With 780mm seat height, it can prove to be comfortable for Indian riders.

Powerful engine and mileage
The scooter will have a 157cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which will generate about 16PS of power and 14.7Nm of torque. With CVT transmission it will be able to deliver smooth riding experience in both city and highway conditions. Mileage is expected to be around 40 to 45 kmpl.

Features and safety
Features like fully digital instrument cluster, Honda Smart Key, keyless ignition, USB charging port, traction control and ABS can be found in Honda ADV 160. Apart from this, 27-30 liters of under-seat storage and 8.1 liters of fuel tank will make long journeys easier.

With front and rear disc brakes, ABS and advanced suspension setup, this scooter claims to provide better control and comfortable riding experience.
