Talking about the protests on Saturday, Abhijit said that his protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi was a success and he got the support of 7,000 people. He also announced that now this movement will be expanded across the country.

A warning to the government

Abhijit Deepke returned to his home after the agitation ended on Saturday; He was received at his residence in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati district on Sunday morning. Speaking to reporters after his return, he warned the government. Reiterating that the agitation will continue until the education minister resigns, he stressed that it will be a nationwide campaign and he will not back down until the resignation is received.

Informing about the protest on social media platform ‘X’ (Twitter), Abhijeet Deepke wrote, “Yesterday thousands of us made history. Our peaceful protest at Jantarmantar showed the government what we, the ‘Cockroaches’, can achieve when we come together.”

He added, “Most of those who joined us yesterday had never participated in a protest before. Yet, our collective presence gave them the courage to express their anger and frustration with the education system. Unless we raise our voices, change cannot happen.”

Thanking all those who participated in the protest, Abhijeet wrote, “I want to thank all those, including children and students, who braved the scorching heat and proved that peaceful protest is our greatest strength. The government cannot harm a united, peaceful protest. We ‘cockroaches’ need never fear them.”
