In a major relief to the makers of Bossthe temporary stay order imposed by the city Civil Court on the film’s release has been vacated, clearing the way for its theatrical release.
Produced under the Siri Productions banner and directed by V Lava, Boss features Tanush Shivanna in the lead role. The film had earlier faced a legal hurdle after actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan approached the Civil Court seeking to restrain its release. Following their petition, the court had granted an interim stay order on the film.
At a recent hearing, the court examined the arguments and counterarguments presented by both parties before deciding to set aside the temporary injunction. Senior advocate and Bar Association President Vivek Subba Reddy represented the Boss team and argued the matter before the court.
