Important role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in India’s development journey
India is going to become the third largest economic superpower in the world today. When the countrymen hear about the progress of their country, they undoubtedly feel very happy and proud. Along with the central and state governments, the citizens of the country also have an immense contribution in this development journey of India., That is why today we are emerging as the third largest superpower in the world. The role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has also been important in India’s development journey., Which cannot be denied. Of course, some people with anti-union ideology may find the contribution of RSS in the country’s development journey surprising., But this country will never forget the contribution of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Remember and imagine that time of independence., A country whose independence was achieved in the name of religion due to the desire of some so-called power-seeking politicians to become rulers., There must have been so much bloodshed there at the hands of our own people.? With the rise of Pakistan, from Lahore to Karachi, The country has seen the story of massacre of Hindus living on the eastern-western borders., Even today, just imagining it gives goosebumps and a shiver in the body.
Even before independence, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was making people aware to realize the dream of united India. On many occasions, the founder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the then first Sarsanghchalak, Dr. Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar and the second Sarsanghchalak Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar ‘Guruji’ also asked all the great then leaders who fought for the freedom of the country to fight to maintain a united India., But some people with anti-Sangh mentality, ignoring the demands of the Sangh every time, bowed down to the insistence of Jinnah of the Muslim League and ultimately divided united India into pieces in the name of religion.
The goons supporting Jinnah’s Muslim League and Pakistani military soldiers not only carried out bloody atrocities on Hindus living in every part of Pakistan to force them to flee from there., rather Hindu daughters, The dignity of daughters-in-law and mothers was also publicly looted and destroyed. The heaps of dead bodies of Hindus in East and West Pakistan were proof of how much Jinnah and his goons had poisoned the people towards Hindus in their greed for power.
In that bloody period of independence, it was the workers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh who first came forward to save the identity of Hindu mothers, sisters and daughters in Pakistan and fought as much as they could at the risk of their lives against Jinnah’s goons and his soldiers., Every effort was made to save that many Hindus. Not only this, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh not only provided security to the Hindus and their families who were evicted and tortured from Pakistan by opening relief camps at various places to help the Hindus who were evicted from their own land due to the tragedy of Partition.,
Rather, the volunteers provided food to those Hindus for months on their own without government help., Arrangements for water and health were also made. The country knows how the RSS volunteers had saved the Hindus living in Pakistan during that difficult period of partition. Many people of the independence era believe that if at the time of independence the volunteers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh had not risked their lives to save Hindus., So Jinnah’s goons and his army, bent on hooliganism, would have annihilated the entire Hindu community from Pakistan in the fire of hatred.
With the independence of the country, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh maintained unity among Indians., It kept the flame alive for this great cause through its workers without any publicity., The result of which is that India has today become a country that has made the world’s superpowers bow before it. Whenever calamities occurred in the country, From time to time, before the government, the workers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh have selflessly stood up as a support of hope in times of calamities, without caring for their own lives. Even the opposition leaders have been openly praising the work done by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Whenever there is a severe flood anywhere in the country, is dry, There may have been an earthquake or some serious disease may have spread., The worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh becomes the first support in every calamity that comes in the country and without asking caste or religion, he gets engaged in service work by risking his life.
RSS is an organization that unites and strengthens the country., Which provides support in the development of every class and society of the country without any distinction of caste and religion. The scope of RSS is to maintain human love and national unity throughout the country and among people of all castes and religions living in the country., Its volunteers work day and night for this great objective. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the only organization, Who never shows off the work he has done and never brags about himself. The activism of the Sangh can be understood only by looking at the health of the country. If the country is becoming a leader in the world today, So the role of RSS in this will also have to be accepted with an open mind.
Crores of workers of RSS, the world’s largest organization dedicated to national interest, fulfill every word of their Sarsanghchalak in a very disciplined manner, sacrificing everything and selflessly. This is the result of the strength of the Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak. Shri Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the sixth Sarsanghchalak. Before this, Dr. Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar, Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, Madhukar Dattatreya Devras, Pro. Rajendra Singh ‘Rajju Bhaiya’ and K. S. Due to the sacrifice and discipline of Sudarshan ji, the Sangh is dedicated to the work of humanitarian service with its roots firmly established in countries across the world.
Some opportunistic power-seeking leaders of Indian politics have not shied away from calling RSS an anti-national organization in the interest of their vote bank politics. Not only this, After coming to power, some political parties, in order to remain in power with the help of caste-religion vote bank, had banned RSS in their respective states and Indians belonging to RSS were also harassed. Even today, restrictions have been imposed on RSS workers and supporters in some states of the country. At present, some people associated with politics have spewed venom against RSS by calling it only an organization of Hindus in order to establish their dominance over the vote bank of a particular class. Of course RSS is an organization with Hindutva ideology., Whose great objective is to unite and strengthen the nation by awakening the feeling of patriotism among people of all religions and castes.
Those who are against the ideology of RSS and are present in politics today are doing caste politics., They should learn from the first Prime Ministers of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri ji that they have time and again praised the RSS for rising above party politics while working for the national interest. The current Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Mohan Bhagwat along with the heads of all classes and religions of the country, the corrupt notions which were spread by the political parties towards the Sangh., By alienating them to a great extent and making them aware of the true national interest objective of the Sangh, they are also working to connect other religions with the ideology of the Sangh. The country is celebrating the centenary of the establishment of RSS this year on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Under the guidance of Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, programs are going on across the country to make the new generation aware of the work of the Sangh. RSS is such a social organization, Which unites the people divided and scattered in the name of caste and religion and teaches them lessons ranging from individual development to nation building for selfless service to the nation.
RSS was also established 1925 It was started by Dr. Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar ji on the day of Vijayadashami with this great purpose. In its hundred years of journey, RSS has been dedicated to the dedication of its workers., On the strength of sacrifice and discipline, today it has become a banyan tree and has spread to more than eighty countries of the world.Under the leadership of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, the Sangh celebrated its 100th birth anniversary last Vijayadashami and became a complete witness of that historic moment. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will celebrate its centenary year with great enthusiasm throughout the country and through programs it will also introduce the new generation to the role of Sangh in the development of the country, its sacrifices and devotion to duty.
