BCCI has taken a special decision for this young batsman, who made a place in Team India’s T20 squad at the age of just 15. Considering Vaibhav’s young age, the board has decided that his parents will be able to accompany him on the upcoming England tour.
Vaibhav got place in T20 team
15-year-old young opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has caught the attention of the selectors with his excellent performances in recent months. He impressed the selectors with his explosive performance in the IPL, after which he got a place in the Indian T20 team. Vaibhav will now be a part of the Indian team in the T20 series against Ireland and England.

BCCI’s big decision regarding Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Indian star batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be able to accompany his parents on the England tour. While giving special permission, BCCI said that this step has been taken to make this 15-year-old player feel comfortable in foreign conditions and the environment of the senior team. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia, while talking to Hindustan Times, said for Vaibhav that he is still a child and till now he has traveled only with players of his age. But the atmosphere with the senior team will be completely different, so the board has decided that their parents or any member of their family can accompany them on the foreign tour.
Vaibhav’s great performance this year
This year has been very wonderful for Vaibhav. In the beginning of 2026 itself, he played an important role in India winning the title by playing a stormy innings of 175 runs against England in the Under-19 World Cup final. After this, he performed brilliantly for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026 and won the Orange Cap by scoring 776 runs in 16 matches.
