‘If we sit with an open heart…’, Nepali Foreign Minister’s big statement on border dispute

There is a dispute between India and Nepal on Lipulekh Pass. From time to time these issues have been raised in Nepal. Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, who reached New Delhi, said that Nepal wants to resolve the issue through dialogue. Instead of showing excessive nationalism, we are adopting a calm and data-based approach to solving issues.

The Nepali Foreign Minister also lauded India’s economic progress and said that when we look across the border, we see a rising India – an India that has fundamentally and brilliantly defined itself on the global stage as a dynamic, fast-growing tech and economic superpower.

Nepal wants to join India

The Nepali Foreign Minister expressed his desire to connect with India and further said, ‘We want to connect with this India which has tremendous expectations and cutting-edge technology. In return, we bring the energy of a Nepal full of hope.

It also said that the new government formed in Kathmandu does not want to see India from the crooked and highly sensitive perspective of geopolitics of the 21st century, but wants to build mutually beneficial relations for the progress of both the countries.
