Shilpa Shetty chooses project after thinking carefully, wants to do theater film instead of OTT

Desk. These days, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty seems to be very clear and strict about her film decisions. Amidst the growing era of OTT, she openly told that now she does not do every project, but chooses it very thoughtfully.

In the interview, Shilpa clearly said that now she does not want to make any ‘compromise’ in her work. He believes that after working in the industry for so many years, one should now do only what feels right from the heart and has a strong reason for appearing on screen.

He also admitted that there has been a big change in the film industry these days. Many makers now consider OTT as a safer option instead of theatre, because the risk is less there. But Shilpa’s perspective is a little different.

She now wants to do a film which will be released in theatres. He said, ‘My children have not seen me in theatres. That’s why I want to do a theater film. My son saw Sukhi in 2023, but it was in a preview theatre. I want to get films like the ones we used to make earlier.

Shilpa told that she has refused many big films, but she has no regrets about her decisions. He said that for him it is not money or big projects, but the quality of work that matters more.

Shilpa Shetty has made a lot of recognition in the industry. She has turned 51 today. She is also well known for her fitness. Talking about Shilpa’s work front, she will be seen hosting the cooking reality show ‘Maa Hai Na’. It will stream on ZEE5 from June 12, 2026.
